The March First Friday session is at the Griffin Inn in Lisvane, Cardiff. It promises to be busy and a number of the capital's players will be joining the Newport regulars. Get there early to get a seat, we hope kick off about 8.00 pm.

Back in Newport this year, the Welsh leg of the Comhaltas UK tour was a great success. The Dolman Theatre provided a fine venue for the final concert of the tour and the audience were treated to a polished show of music, dance and song from Ireland's (and Italy's!) finest performers. oOo Back in Newport after two years in Cardiff is the Comhaltas UK tour concert (Echoes of Erin) at the Dolman Theatre. oOo The March First Friday session has moved to Cardiff while the April session is cancelled. oOo There is however an extra session at the Irish club on St. Patrick’s night. oOo

Friday 5th March.
April’s First Friday session has been cancelled because it coincides with Good Friday and the Easter vacation.
Wed 17th March.
Sunday 21st March, 2-4 pm.
Sunday 9th May.
The inaugural First Friday ceili (see below) has had to be cancelled, and will take place next month on the 5th, followed as usual by a session in the bar.
The First Friday session will take place as normal on Friday. February 5th at 9 PM in the Irish club bar.
