- Take the M4 until Junction 28
- Follow road markings for A48 Newport (Cardiff
Road)
- Go straight ahead at the roundabout
- Go past Ebbw Bridge Club on your right
- Go under a railway bridge, and keep straight
on at traffic lights (the turning for Tesco is on your right)
- Go straight across small roundabout - The
Royal Gwent Hospital will be to your left
- At traffic lights, bear left (don't go straight
on as there is no right turn at the crossroads). At the roundabout
take right (3rd exit)
- You should now be facing a set of traffic
lights at a crossroads with the Newport The Police HQ is Diagonally
ahead on your right
- Go straight ahead for approx 50 yds to enter
Commercial Road. The Picton pub will be on your left and The Irish
Club will be immediately on your right.

- Take the M4 until Junction 26 Follow signs
for city centre on dual carriageway
- Go past the bus station to your right
- Go straight across a mini roundabout,
Kingsway shopping centre will be to your right, Newport Leisure
Centre to your left
- Pass through a pedestrian crossing and bear
left to reach traffic lights at a crossroads. Newport Police HQ is
diagonally ahead on your right.
- Go straight ahead for approx 50 yds to enter
Commercial Road. The Picton pub is on your left and The Irish Club
will be immediately on your right
